Fourth Grade Poetry Cafe

CWA fourth grade was transported to Paris for their end-of-year poetry cafe.  

With black berets atop their heads and masks adorned with mustaches, fourth-grade students shared original poetry. Everyone was welcomed by Carrie Wolslegal with a poem of her own.

Welcome family and friends to our 3rd annual Poetry Café

We are so happy to have you with us today

As we celebrate with those we love both far and near

Our growth in writing and all we’ve accomplished this year

It has been one full of changes, many bumps in the road

But through it all, this amazing group showed

Their perseverance and courage from the very start

And filled each day with fun, hard work, and words from the heart

Together we have transformed the most challenging year

Into something incredible we will always hold dear

Fourth grade, know we couldn’t be prouder of you 

So get ready to inspire and shine like you always do!
