Athletics Recap 5/16/22

As spring sports begin to wrap up, many major tournaments are taking place for student-athletes; our tennis, track and field, and golf teams all compete at districts this week.

Girls Tennis

Congratulations to the CWA girls tennis team; they won the Nisqually League Tournament this past weekend and Sophie B. ’24 is the league singles champion! All four of CWA’s entries will advance to the District 3 Tournament that begins tomorrow. Here are the CWA results from last Saturday’s league tournament:

Track and Field

The Tarriers were on fire at the league meet last weekend, with impressive finishes in multiple events, including championship wins by Sky C. ‘24 in discus, Cameron A. ’23 in the 100m, and Tavian B. ’23 in the high jump! See the full list of results in the graphics below.
