Athletics Recap 5/31/22 – State Results

Tarrier athletes finished out their seasons with amazing accomplishments at State!

Golf

State results: The CWA girls golf team took 2nd place at the 1A State Championship tournament, and Emersyn W. ’22 is this year’s 1A Girls Golf State Champion! This is Emersyn’s second time winning State; she won her freshman year, the last year we competed due to COVID restrictions.

Emily C. ’22 also played very well and tied for 5th.

On the boys team, Will T. ’24 also played well at State.

Tennis

State results: the CWA’s girls tennis team placed 2nd at the 1A State Championships, and Sophie B. ’24 is the 1A Singles State Champion!

Representing the boys tennis team, Parth J. ’23 placed 6th in the boys Singles tournament.

Track and Field

State results: Tay B. ’23 tied for 7th place in High Jump.

The following Tarriers also gave it their all at this year’s State Championships at Eastern Washington University:
Cameron A. ’23, Sky C. ’24, Fox L. ’23, Andrew W. ’25, Cedar O. ’22, and Samuel V. ’25.
